How to read the statuses
- TRIGGERED — the package meets the carrier's published condition. The surcharge applies.
- NEAR — within the near band (1 in for sides, 2 in for length + girth, 2 lb for weight, 5% for volume). Small changes matter here.
- SAFE — comfortably below the threshold.
- UNKNOWN — the carrier does not publish this check or the value is unavailable.
What is NOT included
DimCheck does not estimate surcharge dollar amounts or final invoice totals, and it does not model shape-based rules it cannot verify from dimensions and weight alone (like packaging-material or irregular-shape charges). Fees vary by zone, service, and season — always confirm in the carrier's current rate guide.
